What We Believe
Welcome to Foundations Bible Church! We are a Bible teaching, Jesus following, non-denominational body of believers.
Together we strive to be the light in a dark world and share the Good News of our Lord and Savior. We believe both the literal and figurative text of the Bible, “If the plain sense makes sense, then seek no other sense.” -Dr. David Reagan
The Bible and
Salvation
We believe only those who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior will be saved from God’s wrath and enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible teaches that all persons, both living and dead, will stand before God to be “judged according to their works.” (Rev 20:13b) Those who do not personally believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior will face God’s wrath and eternity in Hell. “Anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Rev 20:15)

The Trinity And
The Bible
We believe in the Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is just one God- “Listen , Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”(Dt 6:4) Yet this God is three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. “After Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water. The heavens suddenly opened for Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on Him. And there came a voice from heaven: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him!” (Mt 3:16-17; Mk 1:9-11; Lk 3:21-22).
The Core of
Salvation
We believe God created all the earth and every living being within it, just as it is told in Genesis chapter 1. We were created by God, and we will be completed by God. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Gen 1:1) “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” (Gen 1:26) “Look! I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me to repay each person according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (Rev 22:12-13) Jesus came to earth as a baby, preached the Gospel while never committing a single sin, and was sacrificed, by God, so we (sinners) may be forgiven. Because He paid the ultimate sacrifice, we too can be saved by His blood.
